ok everytime you exit the truck (it says enter truck, but i know it's exit) you have to make sure to look away from the beacon on top of the truck, and while trying to move forward you hit ctrl for crouch. that's the only way to get passed it that i've found. it took me a very long time to figure out i needed to fix the engine, because i cant really understand the characters dialog lol. then when i fixed it i tried to get back into the cab and it i guess something knocked me away from the truck? i just started flying very fast away from the truck and i ended up just walking around in some blackness forever lol.
anyways i write this so you can look into it if you wanted to. cool idea, but those bugs make it extremely difficult to get to an ending. good luck on your next project tho! :)
timing was bad, but basically you were supposed to see a shadowy figure in the driver seat, and leaving with the truck, you probably got knocked by the truck oops
im really liking the atmosphere, but understanding the characters is nearly impossible. i was going to add this to a 3 scary games video and im going to give it another go later when i actually record.
the idea for this is really good! I just want to understand the characters. i absolutely LOVE the outdoor atmosphere
EDIT: i forgot to mention half of the problem with not understanding the characters is that the bg ambient noise/music is so much louder than the dialog.
i dont know what engine u are using but recently i found that in Godot u can make 1 audio bus do 'audio ducking' under another audio bus. i bet unity and other engine have some equivalent.
just thought i'd throw that out there lol
clearly subtitles would help, but i know thats a lot more work for a jam game
Hey thanks for checking the game, I probably plan on polishing everything and adding the missing voicelines at the end and the cut content. I could send you the story script if you are interested.
Also for the sounds volumes.... we didnt really have time to balance the sounds unfortunately :')
